	Ensuring health status through Community Care Centre	Spreading message on World AIDS Day

CHARDEP has taken steps for Empowering the poor, facilitating their participation in society and enabling them to move upward on the socio-economic ladder.

Opportunistic Infection (OI) among Persons Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA) is most probable who continues to experience with low nutritional support and medical care. CHARDEP through its Community Care Centre strives to address these issues and ensures zero probability. During November, CHARDEP treated 43 OI people as inpatients and 103 as outpatients.

Spreading Message on World AIDS Day:

A positive network meeting was facilitated in order to explore and understand the challenges faced by PLHA, their needs.

5 sensitization meetings were facilitated focusing on prevention of HIV transmission and re-infection, positive prevention.

3806 condoms has been distributed to the PLHA.

World AIDS Day has been observed by CCC.

Dr. Lavanya, Medical Officer – ART Centre Kanyakumari district & Mrs. Crena, Chief of Positive Network Association Kanyakumari district shared their views to grace the occasion.

Bed roles and dhoties to 22 male PLHA and bed roles and sarees to 27 female PLHA were distributed.
